Bio
Morgan Fox arrived at the bet365 Stadium in summer 2020 with a reputation as a swashbuckling left-back and a determination to build upon a series of already-impressive performances throughout the EFL.
Having previously spent three-and-a-half years on the books of Sheffield Wednesday, Fox made more than 100 first team appearances for the Owls, and under Garry Monk became a key figure in their plans.
An athletic performer, the former Wales Under-21 international is known not only for his defensive prowess but also his ability to provide an attacking threat down the left flank and also the accuracy of his set-piece deliveries.
Born in Essex, he started his career with Charlton Athletic, and got his initial taste of first-team football whilst out on loan with Notts County.
Having played only seven games for the Magpies in League One, Fox returned the Addicks, and made more than 100 appearances over three seasons.
His performances in southeast London attracted the attention of Wednesday, who paid £700,000 in January 2017 to take him to South Yorkshire.
Four seasons at Hillsborough followed, during which Wednesday qualified for the Championship play-offs once, before Fox elected to move on to the Potteries after the expiry of his contract.
