Jacob Holland-Wilkinson arrived on Stanley Matthews Way from Preston North End in August 2022.

The forward graduated from the Lilywhites academy in 2019 when he was promoted into the club’s Under-18s set-up. He would spend two years in that age group before being pushed up to Preston’s reserve team. Only weeks after that, the striker linked up with AFC Fylde on a month-long loan deal. Holland-Wilkinson would enjoy another temporary spell a few months later as he joined Bamber Bridge.

At the end of the 2021/22 season, Holland-Wilkinson left Deepdale to join Kevin Russell’s side in search of a clear pathway to the first team.

The attacker would make his competitive debut for the Potters’ Under-21s side in August 2022 as they beat Newcastle United 1-0 on the opening day of the Premier League 2 Division Two season.
