Left-sided defender Badley-Morgan signed for the Potters from Chelsea in August 2022, having grown through the Blues’ academy. Born in London, he initially represented England at Under-17 level, but remained eligible for Jamaica, and switched allegiance to make his Under-20 debut for the Reggae Boyz just before joining City.

He made five appearances at the Under-20 CONCACAF Championship in Honduras as Jamaica reached the quarter-finals, losing to eventual runners-up, the Dominican Republic. Two months later, Badley-Morgan made his competitive Under-21 debut for City off the bench away to Middlesbrough.
