Welsh centre-back Baker joined the Potters from Gillingham’s academy in summer 2021. He made his competitive debut for the Under-21s at home to Reading in August of that year, and his first start came away at Middlesbrough two weeks later.

Internationally, Baker has represented Wales’s youth teams right back since Under-15 level, making his international debut away to Switzerland in April 2018. Just five months later, he moved up an age group, and has since reached the Red Dragons’ Under-21 side, playing one friendly against Austria in September 2022.
