The U23s secured their place in the Premier League 2 play-offs with a 2-1 victory over Newcastle United last night.
Douglas Taylor and Will Goodwin struck either side of Dylan Stephenson’s equaliser to give the Potters a deserved three points.
Kevin Russell’s side have three regular season games left to play before they will get their shot at promotion from Division Two.
