Stoke City have completed their final signing of the summer transfer window with striker Abdallah Sima arriving on a season-long loan from Brighton, subject to international clearance.
The 20-year-old Senegalese international joined the Seagulls from Slavia Prague earlier today before heading out on loan to the Potters.
Sima is currently away on international duty and will link-up with his new teammates later next week.
Manager Michael O’Neill said: “Abdallah is a player with great potential which is why Brighton have taken the decision to bring him into English football.
“He’s still developing after playing just one season of senior football with Slavia Prague and we are looking forward to seeing him continue to progress with us over the remainder of this season.”
After a spell in lower league French football, Sima joined Slavia Prague in July of last year and went on make quite an impression, scoring 11 league goals and four in the Europa League.
He made his international debut for Senegal earlier this year and currently has two caps to his name.
Sima is the Potters’ eighth signing of the summer window, following Ben Wilmot, Sam Surridge Jack Bonham, Mario Vrančić, Leo Ostigard, Romaine Sawyers and Demeaco Duhaney in arriving at the Club.
