- Potters too strong for Saints
- Sima brace put City 2-0 ahead
- Surridge pounced to add a third
Abdallah Sima’s brace handed the U23s a comfortable 3-0 win over Southampton at Clayton Wood yesterday.
Sima stabbed in the opener just before the break, and doubled the lead by smashing home Sam Surridge’s cutback in the 48th minute.
Surridge then turned scorer seven minutes after that, as he tapped home after impressive work by D’Margio Wright-Phillips to confirm a third victory in a row.
