  • Online takeaway giant becomes Platinum Partner
  • Formed in 2017, they are based in Stoke-on-Trent
  • They took more than 34million orders worldwide in 2021

Stoke City are delighted to announce a new two-year Platinum Partnership with online takeaway giants Foodhub.

Founded in Stoke-on-Trent by school friends Ardian Mula & Mohammed Shakil in 2017, the company remains rooted in the city as its headquarters are in Fenton where they employ around 75 people, with approximately 1,100 people employed worldwide.

They have more than 30,000 restaurants and takeaway partners across the UK, USA, Australia, New Zealand and Canada and took more than 34million orders worldwide last year.

Around 400 independent takeaways and restaurants in the Potteries are signed up to the Foodhub portal, which is unlike their competitors as they do not charge customers a service fee when ordering.

Similarly, there are no commission charges for their restaurants partners which in turn means they can offer exclusive discounts.

Foodhub branded inventory will be on display around the bet365 Stadium and also across the Club’s digital platforms, whilst throughout the partnership fans will have the opportunity to enter fabulous competitions.

Steve Forrest, Partnerships & Advertising Manager at Stoke City Football Club, said: “We are delighted to welcome Foodhub as our latest Platinum Partner and would like to take this opportunity to thank Ardian, Simon and the wider team at Foodhub for their incredible support.

“As an ambitious international company with roots laid firmly within Stoke-on-Trent, they are a great addition to our partnership portfolio and understand the benefits to be had in working closely with Stoke City Football Club and engaging closely with our supporters.”

Forrest added: “We have already been working closely together on a number of exciting activations ahead of the forthcoming season and we look forward to sharing these with supporters over the coming weeks.”

Foodhub CEO Ardian Mula said: “We are absolutely delighted to be partnering with Stoke City, one of the founding members of the Football League – and the backbone of our city.

“At Foodhub, we too take immense pride in supporting the Stoke-on-Trent community, and we’re positive that our new association together will reinforce this commitment on both sides.

“As a business, we couldn’t dream of a more perfect match, and we’re massively excited to support the club in its efforts next season. Up the Potters!”
