Douglas Taylor has this evening moved on loan to National League North side AFC Fylde.

The 20-year-old, who has scored eight goals in his last five appearances for the U23s, will spend the rest of the season at Mill Farm.

The Coasters currently sit third in the sixth tier of English football and harbour hopes of clinching the one automatic promotion place with nine games left to play.

Taylor could make his debut for James Rowe’s side on Saturday when the recently appointed manager takes Fylde to Gloucester City to face his former club.

Everyone at Stoke City wishes Douglas every success during his time with Fylde.
