Kevin Russell spoke to Stoke City+ after his side were beaten in the Premier League 2 play-off final by Wolverhampton Wanderers.
A first half brace from Luke Cundle was enough for Wolves to record a 2-0 victory at Molinuex and seal a place in the top-flight.
Despite the defeat, Russell was proud of players’ efforts this season as they reached the play-offs for the second successive season.
