Stoke City can confirm its retained list following the conclusion of the 2021/22 season.
First team professionals Tommy Smith, James Chester, Tom Ince and Steven Fletcher will leave the bet365 Stadium when their current contracts expire on June 30.
The Club are in discussions with Joe Allen about extending his contract, while the option to prolong Frank Fielding’s stay with the Potters for a further season has been activated.
Elsewhere, six members of the U23s squad are to be released – Robbie Hemfrey, Kieran Coates, Adam Porter, Patrick Jarrett, Christian Norton and Max McCarthy.
Contract extensions have been offered to Matthew Baker, Lewis Macari, Gabriel Adebambo, Ibrahima Sy, Douglas Taylor and Will Goodwin.
At U18s level, second-year scholars Xander Parke, Conor Robson, Jake Cartwright, Ifeanyi Udanoh, Ted Cargill, Samuel Knowles, Shilo Waldo, Kian Knott, Ryanjay Malbon and Joshua Waite will depart.
Meanwhile, David Okagbue and George Lewis have been offered professional contracts. Tommy Simkin signed his first professional deal with the Club in April.
All nine first-year scholars have been retained for the 2022/23 season.
