  • Republic of Ireland youth international joins Saddlers for remainder of 24/25
  • 19-year-old made first team debut in September’s Carabao Cup defeat of Fleetwood Town

Stoke City under 21s midfielder Darius Lipsiuc has joined League Two leaders Walsall on loan until the end of the 24/25 campaign.

The 19-year-old, who earned his first cap for the Republic of Ireland’s under 21s in November, made his City debut in September’s Carabao Cup victory over Fleetwood Town.

Lipsiuc joined City in January 2024 from St. Patrick’s Athletic and has featured on 18 occasions for the Potters’ under 21s this term.

He links up with the Saddlers for the season’s run-in, with Mat Sadler’s side well-placed at the fourth tier’s summit as the campaign enters its final third.
